Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Storage Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 8 years of experience in managing and optimizing cloud storage solutions, with expertise in Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx NetApp, Cloud Volume ONTAP, Commvault, and Azure/AWS Backups.
Key Responsibilities:
*Storage Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx, NetApp Cloud Volume ONTAP, and other cloud storage solutions.
*Backup Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Commvault Comm Serve and Media Agents.
*Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of storage systems by implementing best practices and tuning configurations.
*Data Protection: Implement and manage data protection solutions, including snapshots, backups, and disaster recovery strategies using Commvault and Azure/AWS Backup services.
*Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor storage systems for performance issues and resolve any incidents or problems promptly.
*Security and Compliance: Ensure storage environments meet security and compliance requirements, including data encryption and access controls.
*Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and operations, to support storage needs and projects.
*Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*7-8 years of experience in cloud storage administration, with a focus on Azure NetApp Files, Amazon FSx, NetApp Cloud Volume ONTAP, Commvault, and Azure/AWS Backups.
*Proficiency in managing Network File System (NFS) and Server Message Block (SMB) file shares, data deduplication, data compression, thin provisioning, and cloning.
*Relevant certifications in Azure and AWS Netapp technologies are a plus.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues.
*Experience with Cloud storage solutions and Netapp Integrations.
*Knowledge of storage automation and orchestration tools.
*Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and practices.
*Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
