Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization), SNP (Supply Network Planning), and PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant to support and enhance our client’s supply chain planning processes. As a consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing SAP IBP/APO systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and improving overall operational efficiency across demand and supply planning, production planning, and scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
*SAP IBP/APO Implementation: Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP IBP/APO solutions (including SNP, PPDS, DP, and GATP).
*Business Process Integration: Understand and analyze business requirements and processes, translating them into SAP configurations. Ensure seamless integration of IBP/APO with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and external systems).
*Demand and Supply Planning: Design, configure, and optimize SNP and PPDS processes to improve demand and supply balancing, production scheduling, and supply chain visibility.
*Forecasting and Planning: Implement solutions for advanced forecasting and planning in IBP, considering both demand-driven and supply-driven models.
*Custom Development & Enhancement: Work with the development team for custom development, reporting, and system enhancements as needed.
*Training & Support: Provide end-user training, create documentation, and offer ongoing support post-implementation.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify system issues, resolve errors, and continuously improve SAP functionality and performance.
*Data Migration: Support data migration strategies and data cleansing processes for smooth integration into the IBP/APO system.
*Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and IT teams to ensure the successful deployment of SAP IBP/APO solutions.
*Continuous Improvement: Participate in workshops, meetings, and other activities to promote continuous improvement and optimization of supply chain processes.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
*Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP IBP/APO, including expertise in SNP and PPDS.
*Experience with full life-cycle implementations (design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support).
*Proven knowledge of supply chain management best practices and integrated planning processes.
*Strong configuration skills in SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization), SNP (Supply Network Planning), PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
*Proficient in SAP APO functions such as Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, and Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).
*Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with IBP/APO is a plus.
*Knowledge of data migration tools and methods for SAP IBP/APO projects.
*Understanding of the integration between SAP and external systems (e.g., CRM, 3rd party suppliers).
