An Agile Coach helps teams, and individuals adopt agile practices and methods while embedding agile values and mindsets. The goal of an agile coach is to foster more effective, transparent, and cohesive teams, and to enable better outcomes, solutions, and products/services for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Cross-functional Teams to analyse current ways of working and design a strategy for the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices
Enable Agile Teams to succeed with a focus on growing capabilities in the teams
Lead workshops and trainings for Agile teams and key Stakeholders
Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement
Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset
Regularly assess teams’ Agile maturity to inform coaching and development approach
Effectively communicate agile principles, practices and overall ways of working across the organization
Champion the use of agile metrics and other objective measures across teams
Keep an objective perspective on issues and troubleshoots by applying agile principles
Promote the usage of Enterprise standards, tooling and strategy
Working with the Agile Enablement Capability Team to build the Agile capability and drive agility within the organization, while ensuring consistency in approach

Experience And Qualifications Required

Must have:

Practical experience sucessfully coaching Teams through the adoption of Agile Frameworks as an Agile Coach in a globally distributed environment
In-depth knowledge of Agile Frameworks
Practical experience with one or more Scaled Agile Approaches (Scrum of Scrums, Spotify model, LeSS, Nexus, SAFe, Scrum@Scale, etc.)
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organization
Innovative and creative thinking in order to solve problems and get things done

Preferred:

Previous experience in driving Agile Adoption is a plus
