Job Description:

The Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure systems and applications, as well
as ensuring the security and integrity of our data and networks. The Security Engineer will work closely with our development
teams to ensure that security is integrated into every stage of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement secure systems and applications, including identity and access management, authentication,
authorization, and encryption.
2. Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, and recommend
remediation strategies.
3. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and
best practices.
4. Work closely with development teams to ensure that security is integrated into every stage of the development lifecycle.
5. Implement and monitor security controls to protect against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification,
or destruction of data and systems.
6. Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response activities to minimize the impact of security breaches.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security is aligned with business objectives and strategies.
8. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity and risk management, and recommend ways to
improve our security posture.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably in a cloud computing or software development
environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
4. Experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software,
and encryption algorithms.
5. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
6. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. CISSP, CEH, or other relevant security certifications are a plus.
