Job Description:

The Resource Manager will be responsible for managing the allocation of resources, coordinating project schedules, and ensuring
that all projects are completed on time and within budget. The Resource Manager will also be responsible for tracking and
reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the allocation of resources across multiple projects, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
2. Coordinate project schedules and timelines to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Track and report on project progress, identifying any delays or issues and working with project managers to resolve them.
4. Identify and mitigate risks associated with project resource allocation and management.
5. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and clients.
6. Develop and implement resource management processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
7. Conduct resource forecasting and capacity planning to ensure that sufficient resources are available for upcoming
projects.
8. Collaborate with other department managers to ensure that resource allocation aligns with organizational goals and
objectives.
9. Provide training and support to project managers and team members on resource management best practices.
10. Monitor and control project expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a resource management role, preferably in a project management office (PMO) or similar
environment.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing resources and delivering projects on time and within budget.
4. Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
7. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira, and Basecamp.
8. Familiarity with resource management software, such as Smartsheet, Mavenlink, or Clarizen.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
11. Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master, etc.) or resource management (CRM, CSM, etc.) is
a plus.
