Leading LMS product evaluation for streamlining processes & operations and introducing cost efficiency for a NBFC

Background

A NBFC organization using multiple LMS systems (Loan management systems) to support various lending sectors such as micro finance, corporate finance, supply chain etc. was facing challenges in managing these systems both in terms of cost and operational efficiency. So, they needed expertise to consolidate all existing LMS-es into a single LMS system.

Approach

AceNet deployed a team of enterprise application architect, lending business SME, business/data analyst and project manager to deliver the engagement in a 3 months’ period. Team conducted workshops with the client teams to understand all the existing loan products and systems across various lending sectors. The team interviewed stakeholders from various divisions like business, operations, finance, application support etc. to understand the ground level challenges and to gather wish list for the consolidated LMS system. We documented the current business work flows and capabilities of the existing LMS systems. We also documented reporting and compliance requirements of the existing LMS systems.

Result

AceNet prepared consolidated artefacts like business requirement document, feature list, etc. for the single LMS system catering to all the lending products across various lending sectors to enable a buy vs build decision. It also delivered a technical architecture for the consolidated LMS system.
